Marburg Primary School
SA Hope NPC Brings Digital Hope to Marburg Primary School with Our Ninth Computer Lab Donation
PORT SHEPSTONE, KWAZULU-NATAL | 8 OCTOBER 2026
Another proud milestone in our mission to bridge the digital divide, empower young minds and create brighter futures for learners across South Africa.
At SA Hope NPC, we believe that every child deserves the opportunity to dream, learn and succeed, regardless of their background or circumstances. We believe that access to quality education and technology should never be a privilege reserved for a few, but an opportunity available to every child.
On Thursday, 8 October 2026, we proudly celebrated another remarkable milestone in our journey as we officially handed over a fully equipped computer laboratory to Marburg Primary School in Port Shepstone, KwaZulu-Natal.
This special occasion marked our ninth computer lab donation, bringing us another step closer to our vision of bridging the digital divide and ensuring that learners in underserved communities have access to the tools and resources they need to thrive in an increasingly digital world.
For us, this was more than just another handover. It was another opportunity to bring hope, create possibilities and make a meaningful difference in the lives of young learners.
Transforming a Classroom into a World of Opportunities
As part of our commitment to improving access to digital education, we transformed a classroom at Marburg Primary School into a fully equipped computer laboratory designed to provide learners with a comfortable, modern and inspiring learning environment.
Our donation included:
21 desktop computers to give learners access to practical computer training and digital learning.
21 headsets to support interactive lessons and multimedia educational activities.
40 chairs to provide comfortable seating for learners.
Computer desks and workstations to create an organised and functional learning environment.
A printer to assist with educational and administrative activities.
A projector and projection screen to enable teachers to deliver engaging and interactive lessons.
A whiteboard to support classroom instruction and learning activities.
Two air-conditioning units to create a comfortable learning environment throughout the year.
Freshly painted walls and classroom improvements to create a welcoming space where learners can feel motivated and inspired.
We wanted to create more than just a room filled with computers. Our goal was to establish a space where curiosity can grow, creativity can flourish and learners can begin developing the digital skills that will open doors to future opportunities.
Every computer, desk and piece of equipment represents our belief in the potential of the children who will use this facility.
Bridging the Digital Divide, One School at a Time
We recognise that technology continues to shape the world around us, influencing how we learn, communicate, work and access opportunities. Unfortunately, many learners across South Africa still face significant barriers to accessing computers and digital learning resources.
At SA Hope NPC, we are determined to play our part in changing this reality.
Through our computer laboratory donation initiative, we aim to introduce learners to technology from an early age, helping them build confidence, develop computer literacy and acquire skills that will benefit them throughout their educational journeys.
With the newly established computer lab at Marburg Primary School, learners will have the opportunity to familiarise themselves with computers, practise typing, explore educational programmes and gain valuable exposure to the digital world.
We believe that introducing children to technology at a young age can help nurture future innovators, entrepreneurs, engineers, educators and leaders.
Our mission is not simply to donate computers. It is to equip young minds with the tools to dream beyond their circumstances and believe in the possibilities of their futures.
Nine Schools, One Mission: Building a Brighter South Africa
The handover at Marburg Primary School holds a special place in our journey, as it marks the ninth school to benefit from our computer laboratory initiative.
With every school we reach, we are reminded of the importance of the work we do and the responsibility we carry to continue making a positive difference in our communities.
From one province to another, our mission remains the same: to make digital education more accessible and create meaningful opportunities for learners who may otherwise have limited exposure to technology.
Reaching our ninth school is an achievement that fills us with gratitude and motivates us to continue expanding our efforts.
Each completed computer laboratory represents a new chapter of hope, not only for the learners who will use it today but also for the generations of learners who will benefit from it in the years to come.
We understand that meaningful change does not happen overnight. It is built through consistent action, dedication and a genuine commitment to improving the lives of others.
Nine schools may be a milestone for us, but for the children whose lives we hope to impact, it represents countless opportunities waiting to be discovered.
More Than Computers — A Gift of Hope
One of the most rewarding aspects of our work is knowing that something as simple as providing access to a computer can have a lasting impact on a child’s life.
For a learner who has never had regular access to technology, the opportunity to sit in front of a computer, explore new programmes and discover new information can be life-changing.
It may be the moment that inspires an interest in technology, encourages a new ambition or gives a child the confidence to pursue a dream they once thought was impossible.
This is what drives us at SA Hope NPC.
We do not measure the success of our projects only by the number of computers donated or laboratories completed. We measure their value by the opportunities they create, the confidence they can inspire and the positive difference they can make in the lives of young people.
We also recognise that none of this would be possible without the support and cooperation of school leadership, educators, community members and everyone who contributes towards making our projects successful.
We extend our heartfelt appreciation to Marburg Primary School for welcoming us and allowing us to become part of its educational journey.
It is our sincere hope that this computer laboratory will become a place of discovery, growth and inspiration for many years to come.
Our Journey of Hope Continues
As we celebrate our ninth computer laboratory donation, we remain committed to reaching more schools, supporting more communities and empowering more learners across South Africa.
We know that there is still much work to be done, and we are motivated by the belief that every effort, no matter how big or small, can contribute towards creating a better future.
Our journey has always been about more than donations. It is about restoring hope, creating opportunities and reminding young people that their dreams are valid and their futures matter.
The handover at Marburg Primary School is not the end of another project. It is the beginning of new possibilities for every learner who will walk through the doors of this computer laboratory.
Nine computer labs. Nine schools empowered. Countless dreams waiting to be realised.
As SA Hope NPC, we will continue working towards a South Africa where no child is left behind simply because they lack access to technology and educational resources.
One school at a time. One classroom at a time. One learner at a time.
Together, we are not just building computer laboratories. We are building confidence, nurturing potential, inspiring dreams and investing in the future of our nation.
Because at SA Hope NPC, we believe that when we invest in a child’s education, we invest in the future of South Africa.
