National Police Day – Bloemfontein

SA HOPE was honored to take part in a special community event held in Bloemfontein on 27 January 2026, where 1,000 learners from 10 different schools gathered to celebrate unity, support and hope at the beginning of the new school year.

On this meaningful day, SA HOPE donated 1,000 FILA school bags and 1,000 Volcano wireless headphones to school children, bringing joy, excitement and encouragement to the learners. The children were thrilled to receive the beautiful and practical gifts, which will support them in carrying their school books and starting the academic year with confidence, dignity and pride.

This initiative reflects SA HOPE’s ongoing commitment to education and child development. It was not the first time SA HOPE reached out to support school children, and it certainly will not be the last. The organization strongly believes that education is the foundation of a better future, and all its efforts are guided by one simple purpose — acting in the best interest of the child.

Newton  primary school Paarl Receives a Renewed Computer Lab Through SA HOPE’s Support

SA HOPE is proud to bring new hope to Newton Primary School Paarl through the full renovation and upgrading of the school’s computer lab — a facility that was urgently needed to support digital learning. The transformed lab now provides a safe, modern and inspiring environment for learners.

 Classroom Renovation

The computer lab received a complete makeover which included:

• Refurbished ceiling
• Freshly painted walls
• New floor tiles

These improvements have created a welcoming and functional space for learners to explore technology confidently.

 Equipment Donation

On 26 November 2025, SA HOPE donated the following items to fully equip the new lab:

• 21 desktop computers and                           computer desk
• 21 headphones
• 40 chairs
• 1 printer
• 1 projection screen
• 1 projector
• 1 whiteboard
• 2 air conditioners

Representatives from the Provincial Department of Education, the Principal, the School Governing Body (SGB), teachers, and learners welcomed the donation with sincere appreciation.

SA HOPE remains committed to supporting education and improving the learning experience for every child. The total value of this project is estimated at approximately R300,000.

SA HOPE intervened, donated and did some renovations. New cupboards and ceiling were erected in the house.
