KGATELO PELE PRIMARY SCHOOL
SA Hope NPC Brings Digital Learning to Kgatelopele Primary School in Soweto
New computer lab gives learners greater access to technology and opportunities to develop essential digital skills
SA Hope NPC has continued its commitment to improving access to digital education in South Africa with the official handover of a newly equipped computer lab to Kgatelopele Primary School in Soweto, Gauteng, on Friday, 4 September 2026.
The donation forms part of SA Hope NPC’s broader initiative to equip selected schools across South Africa with computer laboratories, helping to bridge the digital divide and provide learners with access to technology that can support both their education and future opportunities.
A New Space for Digital Learning
The newly equipped computer lab provides Kgatelopele Primary School with a dedicated environment where learners can gain practical exposure to computers and develop increasingly important digital skills.
As part of the project, we provided 21 desktop computers and computer desks, 21 headphones, 40 chairs, a printer, projection screen, projector, whiteboard and two air conditioners. SA Hope also ensured that the walls of the computer lab were freshly painted, creating an improved learning environment for the school’s learners. The Kgatelopele Primary School donation also reflects SA Hope NPC’s wider commitment to education, digital inclusion and creating a positive impact in communities across South Africa. We are continuing to roll out computer labs to selected schools around the country.
